Injury

The funny thing about tendonitis is that you go for weeks agonizing over taking care of the injury—babying it, icing it, taking anti-inflammatories—and then, once it’s healed enough to get back to more-or-less normal, it’s inevitable that, at some point while running down a flight of stairs, you simply realize that you’re not injured anymore.

I’m not quite there yet—I’m still icing after runs—but I am able to run with no discernable increase in pain or discomfort afterwards.
