There are days, I swear to god, that I hate computers. I’ve managed to crash both computers in the house at least 4 times in the past day. My iMac is incredibly unstable right now, so I’m going to run Norton and see what the problem is. But even the boot process for Norton is taking a week.

In other news, the office is now nearly back together. It looks much better than it did before, and we now have more room. Shelley and I are actually side by side now, which is kind of cool—especially considering we have matching desks.

I spent the morning reading Tennyson’s “In Memoriam,” which (in the early sections, mostly) is one of the saddest poems I’m ever read. The sadness is right up there with the closing of Gaskell’s Ruth, which literally brought me to tears the first time I read it.
