Testing out Dean Allen’s Web Writing Applescripts now, since BlogApp doesn’t seem to be working for me anymore. Alas.

In other news, it looks like Beckham will be playing for England:

Asked if he was ready to play 90 minutes against the Swedes, Beckham, who broke a bone in his foot seven weeks ago, told a news conference: “Yes, being in a World Cup you’ve got to be sure you can last a game, and all the games.

That’s good news for England, but I don’t think he’s going to be able to jump right back in like he wants to. The Guardian has a good piece on his miraculous recovery.

Hmm. These scripts seem to work pretty well. If only they would work with something like Apple’s TextEdit program (which has built in spell-checking)….

Back to capturing video and line-editing this chapter of the dissertation, which contains some unbelievably bad sentences. I don’t know how I managed to let them out of the house.
